Monday 3 July was the warmest day yet recorded with temperatures averaging over 17C for the first time.
Scientists at the US National Centers for Environmental Prediction said that the world's average temperature had reached 17.01C on 3 July, breaking the previous record of 16.92C that had stood since August 2016.
Oh stop with that. I painstakingly sort my garbage from my recycling every week. I only throw out a single bag of trash. I take two to three bags of recycling with me every week instead.
If I want to go home and celebrate all that hard work with a perfectly seared steak, that’s not going to kill the environment.
What does kill the environment is the corporations with the mega farms that are killing the earth with all the toxic animal waste that comes as a result. If you’re going to take aim at someone, try firing shots in their direction and not at people who like to eat meat.
Also before you say it. Not buying one steak isn’t going to put them out of business. This change has to come from a legal perspective and with regulations.
The message of "global warming is not real" is not sent by morons, it is sent by industrial groups who want to keep making a profit. They do have the marketing machinery to push this narrative. The "morons" have zero pushing power for any narrative.
