There's no karma?

The secret is that Lemmy is tracking karma, it just doesn't show it. There are fields in the database that hold the total comment score and total post score.
- Yeah I recognize it's a decision from the admins here, but it's one I approve of heavily for reasons said when I posted this to the fediverse channel. The motivation behind posting is less tainted this way.
  
  Nah I don't think there is an option to show it in Lemmy. It just seems it's there in the database either in anticipation of adding the feature, or because because of changed plans.

Really cool to see Lemmy /u/ URL’s in the artists’ contact links area becoming a thing now!

I've been assuming it's meant to portray the network of federated servers.
- It shows that we are all connected (with gay demons)
- That is in fact, the right answer.
  Moreover, it's meant to indirectly be a visual of this idea, the "network effect": https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metcalfe%27s_law The more connections, the more diversity.

Glad you came to lemmy ! I would've said it was hand drawn if I didn't know you used AI. You're paving the way for none artists to make comics.
- Most of my comics include some hand drawn elements but all start off as a generated images of somesort. You still need to be an artist to do this stuff well, I'm just open and honest about my methods. Thanks for reading!

There's reputation, like karma, over on kbin.
- Yeah I always thought the k in kbin represented "karma bin" so you can have a reddit alt that still had profile karma. That's why his speech gets cut off in the first response "ye-" like saying "yes but kbin has.." etc.
