To celebrate the transition to the Fediverse, here's the flag I designed and posted a couple of years ago on r/piracy
Pretty self-explanatory but the idea is to combine the "share" logo with the crossbones. The message is peers 2 peers, from many to many, sharing is caring, but the deisgn still recalls the awesome pirate flag.
I love it! Would definitely vote this as the new logo

It also looks like a central node branching off into four, showing centralisation over peers.
Maybe a more spherical structure with links between all nodes?

Call me corny but a little floppy disk or a globe or something could be cool
A globe for the cranium and a floppy for the jaw maybe?
This stands well enough on its own. And the skull, although kinda classy in an edgy way, will always hold a rather negative connotation.
Thie is worthy of r/vexillology, or the eventualy Lemmy equivalent. Well done!
