The subreddit is pretty decent in regards to having Australian focussed questions regarding cars, so would be nice to have a similar one here.

You can just have !cars , and rename to Cars Australia.
Consider an easy name to remember, !cars@aussie.zone has Australia (Aussie) in the instance name.

Depends on the instance. This one, as per sidebar, is admin created.
You call in the admin (till they get sick of it) using @lodion@aussie.zone
They just stated that they dont want to create too many communities that are unused so decide whether or not cars is ready for creation, or you could pick something more generalised that includes bikes or other transport etc and split later.
