Banned from c/workreform

I don’t think I’ll last here on Lemmy.

I’ve never posted on !workreform@lemmy.world .

This is not an instance ban from some obscure instance, this is a .world comm. So this is 100% the mod seeing me post something somewhere, tongue in cheek or not, and concluding: let’s make sure that person never upvotes or comments of posts in my community

The only mod of that community is @kat_angstrom@lemmy.world.

So of the plethora of bans that have come my way, one was justified, all the rest is simply for participating somewhere and then get knee jerk banned in another community I never participated in, just lurk and upvote.

The Fediverse needs to change. Mods should not be able to perma ban without cause. I.e. for a ban to be possible it needs to originate from a rule breaking offence inside the community.

This is just making me not want to say anything anywhere, because these snowflakes mods preemptively banning people make no sense at all.

Edit: I can upvote again. The current mod never banned me, and I was wrong to jump to conclusions without checking modlog.
