91x @lemmy.sdf.org You just knew the Cards were going to literally hand this game over like some insistent beggar that won't take no for an answer.
9 0 Replyforlornhope22 @lemmy.one Henry with the touchdown in Nashville. Suck it Chargers.
9 0 ReplyUsernameLost @lemmy.ml I hope the Tits win. As a Dolphins fan, I love that Tannehill had some success with y'all, but he's looking cooked so far this year outside of that long pass to Burks

bozo @lemmy.world Could there be subcomments automatically added to this thread for each game that we can reply to instead of the root thread? I.e. "Packers vs Falcons @ 1pm ET", etc?
I feel like this thread is quickly going to become a mess without proper context.
9 0 ReplyTeaHands @lemmy.world
Last week everyone was up in arms about the separate threads because we didn't have many people in here. This week I bet it's the exact opposite and we get too many in one thread. Mods can't win 😄
5 1 Replybozo @lemmy.world I understand the reasoning to switch to a single thread, the problem is that unless commenters explicitly provide context for each comment they make, no one is going to know which game they're reacting to.
4 0 Replyforlornhope22 @lemmy.one 1 hour into games, and there's 6? comments in here. It's dead Jim.
3 0 ReplyOmega @lemmy.world
I, for one, would rather have a game thread that has one comment rather than a Sunday thread I have to sift through to find it. But I'm just happy to have a place for discussion.

keylogthis @midwest.social Wow, Jimmy G sucks, Niners would have at least one SB win if they didn't get hung up on him.
6 0 ReplyUsernameLost @lemmy.ml He's basically Kirk Cousins, but worse and better looking
4 0 Replykeylogthis @midwest.social I'd say Cousins is a decently average QB that peaks top 10 sometimes. Jimmy is a below average QB that was heavily boosted to peak ever so slightly above average by an insane run game, offensive scheme, insane YAC options, and a top 5 defense to keep him in games. Jimmy is also a turnover machine and gets hurt if you so much as look at him sideways. Honestly, if Niners went any other way at QB 6 years ago they have 1 SB win if not 2... they should have moved on from him after his ACL and never looked back.
