Hm, can't you still access all the content through another instance? Sad to hear this, but maybe that's a strong argument for federation?
- I can see posts from other instances but all content hosted on blahaj.zone like media won’t load. That includes images videos etc.
  
  So sorry to hear that. There are probably technical ways around this, but it seems like they are illegal in the UAE.
  
  Let’s see if the Lemmy devs can build a media proxy. Federated systems are an amazing way to bypass censorship, as the government would have to play cat and mouse as well.
