What does "chud" even mean these days

Over the past year or so I've seen "chud" cross over from Chapo-adjacent online leftist spaces to general internet lingo. In the process it seems like the meaning has shifted though. To me it was a catch-all term for dumb and buffoonish right-wingers and fascists in general

It seems in non-leftist usage chud is just the school shooter wojak and basically means "weird ugly unemployed redditor with mass murder fantasies and implied autism." The chud is not worthy of scorn because of his far-right politics, but because he is cringe. The original political context of the word has been stripped and replaced by ableism
