Online voting is such a horrible idea. Mail in ballots and giving Americans the day off for voting mandated by law would be much more effective and safe.

  Bruh, not everyone can take the same day off...
  The real solution is have it be a week long window, with no counting done until it's completely over.
  There's zero reason why every single American needs to vote in the same 12 hour window
  
  Agreed. I suppose i should have said "days" rather than day.
- Seems like a good way to have someone staring over your shoulder influencing how you vote. But I guess mail in ballots could have a similar problem.
  
  In my state, we have mail in ballots and its very secure. You fill it out at home and then drop it off in a ballot box or send it through the postal service.
  Yea someone can look over your shoulder in theory but they get mailed to your house so unless the hvac guy is really interested in my vote i dont think its much of an issue.
