  • This one was always more on the ship than it was on him. He just wanted to talk about the God damn engines. The ship made it weird.

    • Legit why would the ship do that without expressed consent for a program like that. Like there is expressed consent for safety protocols. Didn't geordie just ask the ship to extrapolate her published materiel and logs to make a personality? Far cry from saying I want a program to have a romantic spark with someone.

      • It was vaguely implied several times throughout the series that the ships computer, or at least the holodecks, were more alive than anyone knew/acknowledged. Lots of strange stuff happened in there. I always assumed it had something to do with the modifications made by the Binars.
