Trek to Non-Trekkies

I am desperate to start doing these. Find a bunch of Non Trek fans and just give them the most off the wall, insane, ridiculous no context screenshot and have them try to explain.

If they want to find someone who hasn't watched Trek, just get the director of Nemesis.

  Serious answer: I presume this is some kind of proof-by-combat scenario? A local culture demands the protagonists fight one of their own in some cactus-pugilism jungle-gym arena in order to prove their worth, and only then will they grant them whatever boon they asked of these people?
  
  I've seen that episode, but it's been decades so I still don't know what's going on other than they're dueling.

- I vaguely remember that they were being held captive and the devices would punish them for misbehaving. Like, some guy lived with a bunch of female robot slaves or something and the episode ended with him having to live with a robot version of his deceased henpecking wife? Shit I don't know, it's been like 30 years since I watched the original series...
