Arakan Army advances on Kyaukphyu town, seizes strategic supply routes

Kyaukphyu is strategically important to the Junta and China as this is where China is building a deep sea port, terminus of a rail line from Yunnan, and oil and gas terminals, all part of China's plans to unlock its impoverished interior with global trade.
