Eurovision champion Nemo returns the winner’s trophy to protest Israel’s inclusion
Swiss singer Nemo, who won the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, has decided to return the winners' trophy.
Maybe it's time to see Eurovision for what it really is. I think Americans are starting to see what the Nobel Peace Prize is all about as well.
What? What are either of these things really? I'm so confused.
I'm not exactly sure what they're getting at, but I did see someone from the Nobel Peace Prize committee call for Maduro's removal just as the US has been ramping up its "anti-narcotics" operations in around the oil and lithium rich country, complete with extra judicial killings of Venezuelans, telling other nations to avoid their airspace and very recently seizing an oil tanker ship...
So it kinda feels like the Nobel Peace Prize committee is trying to add justification to the cause for war that the US is trying to drum up, which is wantonly egregious, so maybe they're implying that both the Nobel committee and Eurovision are tacit supporters and backers of imperialism.
Reading about the "Cultural Cold War" will very quickly explain it to you. They're both a propaganda arm of the MIC.

It's in response to the decision last week to let Israel keep participating, which was followed by the boycott of the competition by Spain, Iceland, Denmark and this decision by Nemo. Others countries have since decide to boycott it as well (not Switzerland).

It all lip-service actually. These countries (EU and US) have all the political, economic, legal and military power to actually punish Israel but instead they choose to do these meaningless acts. In fact they benefits from this genocide/colonization.
When someone is at the (benefit) receiving side of colonization process, of course, they would not want to be punished for sins of their father, but they will also not give up on the jewels looted by their father too.
