Former Brexit Party MEP, Nathan Gill has been arrested for taking bribes’ from Russian spy Oleg Voloshyn. Here’s Nigel Farage with Voloshyn’s wife

Voloshyn has been accused of overseeing a spy network which attempted to recruit members of the European Parliament.

In 2025 Nathan Gill, a former MEP for the Brexit Party, pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from Voloshyn to make pro-Russian statements on eight occasions in 2018 and 2019.

After Gill's conviction, WhatsApp messages between him and Voloshyn were disclosed in which Voloshyn discussed paying bribes to another MEP, variously referred to as "David" and "D"

100% that Farage is financed by Putin, and stabs his own Britons in the back.
- No shit. There was only one political motive for Brexit: to destabilise Europe. Guess who would benefit the most of it?
  
  Remember that British media had always portrait Europe negatively. The population was prepared. The question is, has Farage abused that setup and the elite opposed Brexit, or is he the lightning rod for a decision that other people made?
  My impression is that the elite is not using all their power to undo the decision now so they likely were not opposing it then. That Putin paid for it is just the icing on the cake.
  We want to believe that Brexit was wrong because if it was strategically the right decision then we can expect bad times ahead for the EU.

Gill hasn't been arrested.
He's been convicted and is serving a 10 year jail term as a proven Russian asset.
I can't wait to see Farage follow him.
