And those are just the accounting errors we know about. Imagine how many "errors" cover the really expensive stuff, like Dulce Base in New Mexico, the secret space force stuff that Pvt. Potato crashed into the ISS and the stuff under Denver International Airport. I'm thrilled. Really.
The most hilarious part is nobody could ever tell if they really did or if it's just an excuse to spend more money.
what happened now?
US overestimated the cost of the weapons they were sending to Ukraine, meaning they can now send more.
Accounting error means the US thought it spent 6 fucking billion dollarydoos more than it actually did on Ukraine aid, which means it now gets to actually spend that extra 6 billion on Ukraine aid.
