Hi!
Here's the context:
Post
Comments
Your scenario wasn't terribly relevant to a nazi propagandist being hung after the war, after the holocaust. It came across as trying to paint the idea that nazis were hung as bad. When others brought up death tolls alluding to genocide you likened the idea of killing nazis to the current US government killing reporters.
I had a brief look through your profile after and it's clear you're no nazi, but we still found your comments in poor taste.

I took the meme at face value without researching who it was so respectfully I think you might be taking my comments out of context.
We considered your comments without the context of who the guy really was. We still found them in poor taste.
I couldn't find the post you commented on because it was removed, but I think it was the one about Julius Streicher.
If it was, then... The hanging of Julius fucking Streicher after his conviction at Nuremberg is a little goddamn different from hanging journalists who don't politically align with the current government.
I agree with the mod.
Here’s the meme.
I did not and still do not know who it is I took the meme at face value.
It's on you to figure out what you're talking about before you comment.
At face value it looks like someone comparing the Nuremberg trials to punishing a political opposition.
A man tried and sentenced at Nuremberg, german surname, accessory to violence as a journalist, black and white photo, armbands in the background... You had all the clues you needed, dude.
Not sure how this meme wasn't enough context. I saw your comment as nazi apologia as well and I was only going based on this meme. Sometimes we post things that a large amount of people would, in good faith, think is suggesting something that we don't mean and sometimes those things get removed. If you weren't banned, seems like a pretty decent way for the whole thing to be handled.
Regardless of your opinion of capital punishment, "well ackually"ing a 1940s nazi getting the death penalty is in pretty bad taste.
Ignorance is not a defense excuse. With respect, take the L and learn from it.
Maybe in that period at those specific trials it would be prudent to check real quick when you don't know who someone is?
If this is about Charlie Kirk, Kirk was not a journalist. He was a racist piece of shit propagandist who spread hatespeech and neo-nazi ideas. Yeah I think calling Charlie Kirk a journalist is nazi apologia because you were deliberately muddying who Charlie Kirk was. A hatespeech propagandist who frequently parroted neo-nazi talking points. And you know what they say, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck its probably safe to assume its a duck.
Was about a literal nazi propagandist from nazi germany. We did indeed interpret Satans comments as muddying the waters
Cool, so even worse than what I was assuming lmao.
This is not about Charlie Kirk but he should not have been shot (not hung either).
No, he should have been eaten alive by something.
Yet more proof this isn't a just world.
I assumed it could be because someone else commented about it and as far as I saw you didnt add context for what it was about. Sorry for the assumption.
And to clarify, I do not think we should shoot or hang people like Charlie Kirk. However I do not feel bad for his death, and I did and do celebrate it. I will celebrate the deaths of people who wish harm for me and my friends and family, even if I do not think it is the most constructive or effective means for addressing the problems.
Edit: I am actually going to adjust my clarificarion. I have mixed feelings about whether killing Charlie Kirk was justified. Under normal conditions, no. However we do not live under normal conditions anymore, this is ramping up to a civil war and I think we need to realize in certain areas we will need to do unsavory and things we viewed as wrong in order to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and to ensure a safe, free, and tolerant society. Does that mean I think the killing of Charlie Kirk was the right decision (assuming hypothetically it was a leftist with good intentions, and not just a groyper trying to get a false flag)? I dont know. But I am happy he is dead.
I will end this with John Brown did nothing wrong (except the Pattowatomie Massacre).
Great, and the next time the right is in power they'll remember this and categorize everybody on the left as not-a-journalist but rather a propagandist working on behalf of foreign powers to undermine America by evangelizing a bankrupt ideology that destroys societies. I'm so excited for the future, you guys.
They already do that. Your worst case scenario is their starting point.
We're talking - specifically- about the right in the US. The bug fuck batshit insane racist sexist homophobic fascist party of grifters and thieves who are literally causing harm and death right now. Don't try and devil's advocate them
Quick question. But first, lets recap:
Don't you think this is already the plan?
I think its the plan, I just think it hasn't been fully put into effect yet.
Dude we are already there. They did not and do not need an excuse. Look at the way they talk about the No Kings protests, despite the protesters doing everything to show they are non-violent and are not anti-american. They are deploying the military to crush them and painting them as "paid antifa protesters."
OK. Point me to some actual journalism from Kirk.
Edit: still waiting...
It's worth considering that this could happen anyways.
It's not like putin came to power after a period of rule by the opposition (Yeltsin set him up as president).
They already did, and the Zionists who they aspire to regularly target enemy journalists. The damage demonizing protestors and funding police has already been fucking done. Your liberal virtue signalling will not save lives. Killing Nazis just might.
So… what they already do?
Some context would be nice here
The context showed they defended a Nazi enabler, so that's why they didn't include it.
If you don't want nazi apologia removed, don't post it. Your intent is not relevant.
Looks like YDI. I'm under the impression this was 196 and so the rules are pretty explicit about this stuff and Nuremberg is in the meme.
Feels like someone could win centrist turboposter YPTB crash out bingo at this point.
hung ... my face drops into my hands in grammarly disappointment It's used correct in the article, yet OP still fucks it up.
YDI. :)
They hate progressives more than fascists, not a shocker they deserve it.
I think this is to be expected from Blahaj.
/Begin rant
I don't support arbitrary hangings (and outside of wartime treason you probably don't want capital punishment), but I also wouldn't really consider US "conservative" propagandists to be journalists.
It's like the individuals who work on russian government media, they know they are demagogues.
American oligarch propagandists have a preference for theatrics and elaborate "beating around the bush" rituals, repetitions of popular local polemics, but at the end of the day it's the same shit like in russia.
From my time living in the US, I find it extremely hard to believe that individuals like the Kirk fellow are genuine about their "conservative" views or his alleged belief in Christianity.
The interesting thing is some of the more lucid members of the russian opposition (you don't hear about them in the English language news, it's always Navalniy's wife, Kara-Murza and other goons) do think that senior propagandists should be hanged.
/End rant
But I digress.
PTB
Was about a nazi propagandist in nazi germany, not a conservative reporter (same thing these days I guess)
It's been a wild few days. People both announcing they don't know history or symbols from nazis AND defending actual nazis then complaining they did not know about it so not their fault they defended them
Oh my fuck do you know who the guy in the picture was? Do you know what he did?
Look it up. I won't hold a bag in front of your mouth; you deserve the same experience with what cones out of it that the rest of us get.
Oh my fuck do you know who the guy in the picture was? Do you know what he did?
Yes, he does. That's why he's okay with it.
So blahaj is bad for [checks notes] removing Nazi apologia? Alright, good to know you side with defending the Nazis. Not unexpected from someone who calls leftists degenerate roaches.
Ah yeah, the old "everyone who doesn't agree with me is a Nazi!"
Read my post.
