L'aide humanitaire n'entre pas à Gaza

🎥 "We want thousands of trucks a week. We want it immediately."

The demands of UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher appear to be falling on deaf ears: while humanitarian aid has been entering Gaza since October 10th, the number of trucks allowed through is dwindling, as Israel threatens to restrict supplies until all 28 deceased hostages are returned. A key condition of the ceasefire, it has been widely acknowledged by mediators to be complicated by Gaza's destruction.

The Kerem Shalom crossing remains the only major functional entry point for aid, while the Rafah border with Egypt continues to be closed.

Meanwhile, food prices are surging as residents stockpile essentials, fearful that the fragile truce may not hold.

Fletcher warns that the true measure of the ceasefire will not be negotiations on paper, but whether life-saving aid actually reaches those who need it. With tens of thousands of civilians dependent on these deliveries, the coming days could prove critical for Gaza’s humanitarian situation
