So he’s been properly charged (and pleas guilty) for evading taxes and possessing a firearm, and will be on probation.
This should be the end of it right? Or are others still going to scream about his laptop for years to come?

It may not be the laptop, but it'll always be something else. "He got off easy!" "Wonder what strings Biden pulled to get this deal through..." "Trump would have NEVER done this for one of his kids!" Blah blah blah.
It's always onto the next thing for them.
