I wonder how the valuation is calculated. I assume there is some estimated "brand value" on top of each team's hard assets.

I’m pretty sure all the data comes from Forbes, but it’s crazy that they didn’t cite that.
You can see a lot of the data on their website, including things like operating income and revenue per fan. Here’s the Cowboys, for example.
