Lol nothing says we are afraid of the working class like banning subreddits on suppressed news they don’t want us to see. I came here bc I got a warning on my account for liking a comment that said “Luigi”. My alt account got banned for sharing the DOGE email list that is public info. Fuck Reddit. I’m done.

Today they canceled me one comment cause of a "Fuck Putin", while arguing with a Russian troll.

  On Reddit they ban you, you’re done, you can’t use the site anymore.
  
  Here some shitty tankies ban you, nothing changes, you can still access and use the thousands of other communities on other instances.
  
  for a normal user its finished, if your an OF/advertise, they use paid services to evade ban partially. reddit is getting more sophisticated in detecting many methods outside the usual ones to evade bans. if you heard of anti-detection browsers(which create instances of browsers) and you can spoof your browser/device id , and they also proxies and new devices. i heard they make all that money back and more even if they spent money for services.
- Well, '.ml' doesn't exactly stand for "Mildly Liberal."
  
  But unlike Reddit, you can block the entire .ml instance if you'd like.
  
  In fact, if you don't get along with .ml, do yourself a favor & block the Hexbear instance if your home instance hasn't already.

  i did block one conservative instance, dont need to see it on reddit all the time, certain not here, because its just them whining all the time. and i also blocked people who copy verbatim the false equivalency statements(of left and right) from reddit

  Also are hexbear still around? I don't think I've seen them since the domain issue. Not sure of feddit.uk have defederated, I've been banned or they just don't exist any more.

- It's not perfect but the advantage here is you can choose whose administration you want to be subject to. Avoid the tankie instances and you'll usually be OK. Lemmy.ml is particularly pernicious since it's run by the developers and sort of masquerades as a general purpose instance--but it is hostile to any who don't support their extremist ideology.
  
  I say fuck Putin all the time and haven't had any issues since I left that place.
  
  Initially I thought it was a Russian troll, but probably they're like my still communist friends. Russia bad (or may even not), but USA anyway worse. People without hope.
  
  Yeah I think it's generally genuine... just people who are stuck in a cult mindset.
