It’s not doomer. It’s being a realist. Down the line, there may be something that can get us out of this- but it won’t be protests.
The man just fired the heads of our military. Do you think shouting at buildings is going to make them say-
“Awww. You know what? They’re right. Let’s be nice to everyone!”
Seriously- what do you think protesting will accomplish? The choir is powerless to stop the church. You know this right? So we’re past preaching to them now.
You're a doomer, you're afraid. You cope by screaming into the void. You preach non violence. Now you're saying we shouldn't be nice to everyone. Protest doesn't work. Do you have a coherent argument or are you too unsettled to have a through line?

Yeah. You don’t get to take the W just because you annoyed someone out of discussing something with you. This isn’t how adults interact.
