Do we really have profile pictures? I didn't know that

It's the main way I recognise regular posters

That seems short sighted, for example the very popular voyager client doesn't show any profile pictures. I wasn't even aware those are a thing. I dont want one either though.

It's just easier to notice than a name, but some users have eye catching names too, some use emojis for example.

Well, they don’t show up in the app I use (except when I post or comment and I see mine).
