6 0 ReplyThose are flares to distract the missile. Looks like one flare was hit before the aircraft.

3 0 ReplyFlares and chaff are often launched at the same time. The flares should attract ir guided munitions and the chaff should attract radar guided munitions.

Personally, I can't read the serial number on it from that video, so I can't really say.
