I can either spend $20 on the cable or you can pay $2000 for a professional to buy it and stick it in the wall.

Having one ethernet cable run by an electrician isn't that expensive. I had someone run one for me to my office for like 150 bucks since my ISP wouldn't run fiber to it.

I got an electrician and they just told me to hire a drywall guy (only half kidding)
