Europeans, what is something that Americans have/do that makes no sense to you?

Think that calling a waiter to your table is rude. Like are supposed to wait forever?
- Who thinks that? Certainly not Americans. Never even heard of that
- I mean, if you're rude about it, then yeah, it's rude. Don't be snapping your fingers at the wait staff like they're your dog.
  
  I mean just putting up your hand and waving so they see you.
