I bought my first electric car this year and can't imagine going back, although ultimately I hope that public transport becomes a viable option in my area and I won't have to buy another car in general.
- I would consider it if there were an economical non-privacy-invading DIY-friendly model in my market. but as far as I know, that is not the case. so old used ICE car it is, along with avoiding driving as much as I can
  
  Very true but unfortunately that applies to most new cars.
  
  oh, yeah, those are even farther down my list of options haha
