Trump's lawyers offered no explanation of what's wrong with Wednesday; just skipped over the 9th like it didn't exist.

Yeah, they also said that Trump wouldn't appear, and gave no explanation. His ass needs to be standing there sheepish and red-faced and staring down at the floor, just like last time.
