  • What did he say at the Islamic service at the Pentagon? That's not being reported on?

  • How shit are the streets in the US? Everyone in the comments are removed about their holes.

  • Still 36% are supporting this regime. That's all you need to know about the state of the United States.

  • Maybe if you don't invade every country with oil and behave like a decent nation, you may get a pass too.

  • The comments section is going to be lit.

  • They want to turn Reddit into a rightwing echo chamber. Lately there are so many comments on lemmy about people getting perma banned, including myself, for breaking rule 1. However in most cases, like myself, only made a comment without any harm or even a reference to violence. I only commented that ICE can forget about their payments and bonuses and that in 3 years time, they'll be sucking immigrant cock behind a Wendy's. That got me a perma ban after 15 years on Reddit. All these tech bros are bending the knee and getting taken from behind. Such short term thinking will become their downfall. If this happens, it'll be a good thing for Lemmy.

  • Not missed it. Not reported on because of fear of reprisals and majority of the media is right winged so it doesn't suit their narrative. The media in the US is completely controlled now. Freedom of the press is now a feverdream.

  • Same goes for EV's, mobile phones etc. The US is one of the most limited countries in the world with regards to choice.

  • Mildly Interesting @lemmy.world

In China the public bins have solar panels so at night you can see the holes.

  • Geely is a brand on its own too and produce their own vehicles. Geely also is a major share holder and partner of Mercedes Benz, like the Smart in China and are looking at strengthing their relationship in regards to EV.

  • It's amazing again how limited the US is with choices. In the rest of the world including soon Canada, there is a much greater choice of EV's. Take Australia for example: besides Tesla there is BYD, Seekr, Geely, MG, KIA, Polestar, Cherry, Hyundai, Skoda and WV. But because of the unsubstantiated hatred of anything Chinese, the US has only a couple of choices. Funnily enough, the CEO of Ford drives a Xiaomi SU7 and does not want to hand it in. Look up his interview after he visited China. The same applies to mobile phones. There are amazing phone brands in the rest of the world but again the US is limited. Land of the free but as long at it is beneficial to the US corporations. Competition is frowned upon.

  • I have the concept of a concept of a concept of a plan

  • Uhhh science... Praying has proven a much better solution for diseases.

  • It will be more like Afghanistan. Iran is mostly mountainous and guerilla warfare will be the default. The US relies too much on technology which will not that useful in that environment. Don't forget that the Iran army has been training for years for this type of conflict. Afghanistan was a disaster for American troops but will be nothing compared to Iran.
