  • Kenshi. Did that one start where you're missing an arm. Was able to start making some money scavenging the dead for weapons and valuables, and selling them. Got enough to start a modest wheat farm. Unfortunately the tax man arrived, and I was in no state to pay, so I've been on the run. Don't know where I'll end up at this point.

  • You can install a custom launcher on eos. I will say that the default apps cannot be uninstalled, but I heard there's a way to do it by connecting your phone to your PC.

  • I have /e/os. I decided on that pretty early on in my degoogling journey. Main reason being that I believe any privacy venture will come with tradeoffs, but I went with the "most things will work" approach. They have this neat privacy manager that tells you which trackers come from where, and I think that covers my needs. There has been exactly zero apps that haven't worked so far, and most people that use my phone just think it's a standard pixel.

    The app lounge kind of blows though. I use the F-Droid app for updating F-Droid apps instead of it, since there was some weird stuff about where they were getting open source apps from. I use it for the play store, and it does what it needs to, although there is some weirdness with it like not being able to tell which apps have recently updated and when. I like the idea of joining app repositories together, but it needs work.

  • I wish the gurps community was more active. I know there's the forum and that's where I find myself looking for stuff more often. But a community would be cool. I also admit I wouldn't have much to provide. I'm currently an enthusiast with plans to run a game, but zero experience.

  • I'm curious about the "full spectrum cbd", because for the moment, most cbd products carry a high risk of trace THC metabolites. If we have no way of differentiating the two, THC drug testing is going to become quite thorny. If cbd is a legally prescribed medicine, will there have to be a carve out of some kind?
