  • "The next version will be totally better bro, just trust me bro, it will all work out bro, gimme another billion dollars bro."

  • More options for you!

  • The one in the wikipedia link...

  • Pretty sure coating the whole thing with black ink to make it look 'manly' makes recycling more difficult to.

  • Not all main characters are heroes or anti-heroes. They can just be protagonists.

  • A character who either does the right thing for the wrong reason or the wrong things for the right reasons as a kind of twisted version of a hero. Really any hero type character that doesn't do the right things for the right reasons.

Punisher is an anti-hero because he takes things way too far.

Han Solo is an anti-hero because he is a scoundrel who happened to do the right thing a few times.

  • I found the whole discussion stupid and pointless at the time because the title should match the actual title, not the basic Wikipedia style guide.

  • They dumbly failed to vet the dumb system.

  • Not just chunky, gritty. Absolutely horrible.

I kinda want to do one now.

  • The version I did long ago had a tumbler with a plastic shot glass. I think the tumbler had the orange juice and the shot glass had the Bailey's but it might have been the other way around. You tipped it up and mixed the two in your mouth. They used plastic for the shot glass because when they used glass ones it bonked the nose.

Straws would have been a lot easier, but less entertaining for everyone else!

  • the university or the government does not project these things and adjust the available program sizes

They kinda do, but only the part where they increase program sizes after demand exists and only wind down when the market is saturated. They can't really work too far ahead if they don't know ow something will be in demand and they don't want to tell students to not do something they offer just because there are too many graduates. Add the four or five years to graduation and you get a system that lags behind reality even if the planning was better.

But a well designed post secondary education means graduates can go into similar or related fields, they aren't limited to what is on their diploma except in their own minds.

  • How is that not a five star review?

  • "Durian fruit because they have replicators that can make anything."

  • Lol, I missed that in all them pixels.

  • $14.88 is a very suspicious price for meat and a 'crazy 88 cent sale' is basically confirmation.

If it isn't ibtentional then someone setting prices needs to learn how to avoid dogwhistles. But I'm just going to assume the worst because it usually is.

  • 'Seven legged turbo spider' just seemed pretentious.

    Also, S U R F A R E E S

  • To put it another way, the game's like jumping into a MeatCanyon video about ASMR.

    Well I'm sold!

  • No, because I actively separate the things I'm doing.

Smart phone gets put away if I'm focused on something else. I block off time to do things to minimize interruptions and distractions. Often this requires working around the schedules of the wife and kiddo, but it is doable for the most part. I play modern games on a modern PC with friends, but again the time is (mostly) blocked off for that and I am fully engaged. I can't do the scrolling and videos at the same time because I'm not able to read and listen to something else at the same time.

While I do tend to scroll my phone with a show or movie I'm not focused on in the background, that is mainly because I want to scroll and the TV is there to drown out background noises.

It really comes down to choosing what to be focused on, and it may take practice. I have ADHD and it takes a lot of intentional work to stay focused on things, but it is doable without needing to revert to retro tech, which I found more distracting at the time before working on intentionally avoiding distractions!
