So Al Jourgeson Jourgensen started out Ministry as a New Wave band (and sometimes claims that he was forced to do less heavy sounds by his managers tho this is disputed) and this is one of their last songs with a New Wave sound. Then Al started developing a heavier more metal-influenced industrial sound inna late 80s early 90s. Last year he started redoing some of his older songs in the heavier style. A couple weeks ago he released a video for the remake of this song, I think someone posted it on !gothindustrial@lemmy.world.
It’s been painful for them to watch Google’s AI Overviews parrot travel tips they once offered — especially when the chatbot borrows their Canadian slang.
“I do feel betrayed by Google,” Bouskill said, as Corbeil interjected: “Betrayed, that’s the word.”
To rebuild their livelihood, the couple has pivoted their efforts to YouTube, another Google-owned property.
Ministry - Every Day is Halloween
Nah, we just rebooted !gothindustrial@lemmy.world and have several daily posters now, I'd rather build on that than move and start all over again. Besides, there's a lot of "alt" stuff that doesn't really speak to me, so if everyone moved I'd just stay behind and wait for it to come to life again. (In fact, being alone on a dead community is kinda goth, lel.)
Hey, if you're looking for communities to merge, !punk@lemmy.world and !punk_rock@lemmy.ca are both mildly alive, and their mods have been absent for a year or two.
You mean !gpral@hilariouschaos.com ? Yeah that's there, I think when it was announced a lot of people disparaged it bc the community is on a pro-MAGA server, looks like the announcements were even removed (details).
One problem with an "alternative" general community is that, say, punk plays a big part of some people's identity and life philosophy but they may not identify as "alternative".

Yeah, it really helps a lot to have a "gym buddy" to work out with, or else it's just too easy to never get started.
Obviously they were laughing about the horrible crime they had just committed! /s
Yeah, they would arrest more Latinos without due process and have us build the rail as slave labor (contracted out to their corporate buddies, ofc.)

It's not that hard to eat better and work out. After a couple weeks it becomes routine.

Get a friend to do exercises with. Do calisthenics at a friend's house. It's very hard to work out by yourself, but very easy with a buddy.
Mexico is awesome, but for some reason about half the US electorate thinks it's a hellish place. So no, it's not obvious that they're joking.
I had to look it up. Not quite sure what it means, but:
I would mention it casually to your manager.
Good advice, but I would ask around with coworkers first. It might be something like: the person in question has been given a reduced load because they're just coming back from a heart attack.
Yeah she was very pro-reddit during the API protests too.
Hey redditors, if you send me five bucks I'll set up your Lemmy account for you. /jk ...unless?
My cousin went for a walk in their aunt's residential neighborhood, and someone called the cops on them.
I browse New on Subscribed til I run out, then maybe I do Scaled on All.

If its multiple people complaining, the odds that you are at fault in this increase exponentially.
In general I agree. However, indoor air pollution is a thing. The main thing I'd be concerned with is the use of strong cleaning chemicals in an unventilated area. Other considerations are gas leaks and carbon monoxide build-ups. It's possible that there's a real danger here, and the other tenants just aren't familiar with it. The parents might be convinced about the possible danger to their kids if the facts were looked up and presented to them.
How about if it's read as a base pi number?
Seatbelts, everyone!
Please let this be a normal field trip...
With the Didelphis?
No way!
