I can be controversial or annoying because I always require proof and facts for whatever people are saying/claiming. This has gotten me into a lot of heated debates, even got myself banned from "YouShouldKnow" for saying I need more proof of Israeli's genocide (that was long ago, got more proof and changed my mind). If I do not agree on some subjectively obvious topic, please do not assume I'm being unfriendly, evil or a troll. I do try my best to approach any subject with neutral and open mind. Just call me autistic with OCD

  • China fines Trip.com Group $992m over online hotel-booking monopoly

    Jump
  • friendly to the whole rest of the world right now.

Yeah, except for the support, drones, troop training, etc. to help invade an European country

  • Dislike is not comparable to genocide. I dislike all religions, including Judaism (Jews) and Muslims. That does not mean I'd personally do something, I just avoid it/disregard it/dismiss it.

While I'd probably protest any form of Islamification (sharia law) in my country, that does not imply I'm against Palestine. It's just vastly different region. It's safe to assume they'd protest against European values.

  • I get what you're saying, but I think you meant Palestinians, not Muslims. US is in bed with some Muslim countries and much of Palestine is christian. Muslim is not a race, it's the world's largest religion spanning across all races and continents.

  • I need at least 9 of these

  • Not in english

  • That hasn't really happened before and people generally take my advice (probably because I look like 30 at near 40, muscular and fit). Recently also managed to get my chubby cousin to start going to the gym after I bombarded him with studies highlighting how important it is.

  • 3 years is a long time. It still feels weird that they managed to level cities, but not presidential palaces, including kremlin

  • "we"? He's a special case. A socialist who managed to become a mayor of one of the most important cities in US against chances during the current administration. That's mind blowing to me, and he should use this opportunity to build out a great image of what a socialist mayor could do and how much one could improve situation. Him doing the same shit as everyone else, getting geopolitical and taking stances in middle east is.. ehh, just don't let the leopards eat your face after you manage to trigger them (referring to current administration and Israel's power of public manipulation/brainwashing and ability to make people look bad)

  • Huh? I'm talking about killing Putin. I'm not sure if you meant to reply to someone else, but you're speaking of war itself, not why Ukraine just doesn't finally kill Putin or why Russia doesn't level presidential palace. Reminder that Russia still has plenty of ballistic missiles, drones so many they can easily overwhelm air defenses, etc. They really should not have a problem to strike a building.

I'm not denying that Russia is losing or Ukrainian intelligence is wrecking havoc, that was never the question.

  • Just to clear some more confusion - when I say extra weight, I mean any form of weight (including fats) that don't directly contribute to better wellbeing of your body, longevity and better cardiovascular function.

What do you think I meant by extra weight?

  • When was the last time he targeted Mariinskyi (spoiler, 1 year ago, once)? Do tell me what I'm missing. Russia can clearly level the place with everyone inside, yet they don't.

Putin respects things when he's afraid. It's reasonable to assume he's afraid of what will follow next

  • My comment: Talks about how good he can be for US if he'd stay away from other countries

Americans: But what about middle east?

30 years of American history in a nutshell. Sure, go ahead and once more start making enemies, allies, foes and political stances in middle east instead of focusing on your own country (well, city), that has never went wrong for anyone whatsoever.

It's like y'all are addicted to constantly getting involved in middle east for the weirdest reasons possible like some junkies looking for repeated hit.

  • I'm confused. What part of my original comment is wrong exactly? That extra weight (read: not useful muscle for cardiovascular system and longevity) is extra load (edit: whether the body handles that extra load effortlessly is another question)? The fact that I wish for people to differentiate between bodybuilding and resistance building? I truly believe we should push for clear difference in definitions for those two terms instead of saying it's part of bodybuilding.

How is that even dangerous medical misinfo? Why would anyone get hurt by that?

  • Pretty much with a tiny detail that seemingly enraged half of the community - I said arm biceps (in context of this meme) hardly correlate with longevity (directly) and resistance training for me is all about longevity and health, not looks (I know this is very subjective). Would you agree with that?

  • Am I the only one who wishes he'd stay away from geopolitics? He has the opportunity to show to the Americans that a socialist can be a great mayor, but that won't happen if he collects reasons for current administration to impeach him or whatever they'do. Geopolitical opinions in general also piss off part of voter base and might even lose his cool.

  • Well I did get on some banned list once after I was competing with some friends in dick length (and winning!). We were measuring them till some lady appeared and told me to leave the kindergarten

  • But why are you talking to me incessantly about exclusive bicep focus when literally the first thing I said to you was to go ahead and skip direct bicep training because it doesn’t matter?

It's more about mass building, my focus was on biceps because that's what the focus in the meme seems to be. I didn't even disagree with your initial comment with my comment, I just wanted to point out the difference because I see many people around getting into bodybuilding and eventually many start doing stupid shit like steroids, all sorts of sketchy powders, etc. like a getaway drug, and so I feel like there needs to be a clear distinction between what counts as resistance training as opposed to focusing on simply muscle and mass growth. I don't think you even said "bodybuilding" yourself, I was commenting more about the meme under a comment that highlights the importance of resistance building. Even edited to comment to say "just FYI" so that it's clearer I'm adding more info, not arguing back.
