Especially when I get to work in a position where I don't need to talk to anyone and can just do my thing for 8 hours. My ADHD likes it when my whole body is engaged in a task and I can still daydream at the same time. If only it wasn't so fucking hot during the summer, it'd be perfect.
You're thinking of this purely in legal terms, but the question is if the national guard will listen when they're federalized or if they'll refuse to follow orders.
Imperialism is necessary for a transnational currency to flourish, like how the dollar is used for global trade and especially for oil trade. Fiat national currency only really needs the government of a particular polity to have a monopoly on violence, and this creates a stable internal market for currency as well as an exchange market for buying other national currencies.
Again, let's focus on problems we can solve first. That means taking the beam out of our own eye before we go around criticizing the motes in others, or however that parable goes. We have far worse problems in our own home.

There's an entire industry of ideological production to create non-revolutionary "Marxists" that reject the contributions of non-Western Marxist theorists and revolutionaries. Their job, which has been largely successful, is to recuperate Marxism into a form that is class collaborationist, aligned with Western hegemony, and (most importantly!) aligned against actually existing socialism.
They're not just online here in the West. They're respected in academia, they're on TV, and they're always publishing works.
