  • I never once did that. I never said the article is false. My points were always:

    1. Temu is doing what every other US company is doing, and US companies collecting our data are more dangerous because they can actually hurt me.

    2. A double standard is being applied to Temu because of Chinese ownership, and reporting on this without acknowledging that double standard is propaganda.

  • This thread is about Iowa. I don't know why you can't stay on topic. Iowa is targeting Temu because they're Chinese and won't go after US companies that do the exact same things, or worse, because they're US companies. I don't know why you refuse to talk about Iowa in a thread about Iowa.

    And it was in a thread where the OP is about Iowa. That was the context in which I said Amazon won't face consequences. I was clearly talking about Iowa law and why Iowa targeting Temu is biased, you bringing up Biden's FTC making decisions three years ago to refute this. You aren't seriously engaged with what I have to say, you just want to "win" the discussion.

    Come on, "spying by the Chinese government" is blatant fear mongering. Spying by the US government is far more concerning.
