  • Yup. They're one of the smartest animals alive. They have the intelligence of a 4-5 year old kiddo. And what do we do to them? Lock them up in farrowing cages for 6-12 months WITH NO FUCKING BREAK. They shouldn't be in there at all. They shouldn't even be farmed, much like all animals we farm. It's disgusting that we do it to any animal, much less a VERY emotionally intelligent animal.

    I vollied at an an animal sanctuary for a while, and I got to know the pigs, and they got to know me. they are so smart. They'd come running up to the fence after a while because I would play with them and stuff.
