  • Just two seconds of scrolling X and the xenophobia that is being pushed gives a clear indication of what is being manufactured and from where

  • I wonder when europe will realize the export of techno-fascism from the US is a threat to its national security and an attack on it's values. They need to start taking these far-right vassals of foreign powers as a genuine security issue

  • no, there is a clear aggressor here. No doubt about it

  • No I completely understand what you are saying. It's this timeline that is so fucked up. The sense of joy you feel is from a country bombing a country is even more evil. I hate it here

  • Check news about VW partnering with israel for iron dome. Spot on, haha

  • Palantir CEO see's AI reshaping the economy

Once you get beyond all the disruptive disruptions, it seems that what Karp is saying is that AI is eventually going to hurt the economic position of Democrats in general, and highly educated female voters in particular – and that will have knock-on effects politically. Meanwhile working-class male voters will emerge as the winners of our reshaped economy.

The extent to which this is accurate is debatable; blue-collar jobs may be less vulnerable to AI in the short-term, but technology is coming for those occupations too. However, I think the really interesting question here is this: was Karp’s assessment a warning or was it a sales pitch?
