You've obviously never cooked on induction stoves.
Ceramic stoves and other old electric stoves were a nightmare, that's true, slow to heat up, stays hot too long, nearly impossible to regulate.
But induction is so much better, very quick to heat up, easy to regulate. No exhaust fumes or other noxious gases. Only heats up the part of the pan that needs heating up (the bottom). No risk of fire. Very easy to clean.
"jokes"... those aren't jokes, Salon. Those should be taken as serious as a heart attack. Wake up journalists of the States, your country is under attack from within. (and has been for about a decade now)
Linux based phones have been in development for more than a decade now. I had a Neo Freerunner from OpenMoko in 2008… it kinda worked, but it was not good enough for a daily driver.
What we have now is much better, but there’s still some ways to go before I'm able to ditch my non-linuxy smartphone.
There are certain sites that don't follow GDPR regulations, and they decided not to allow EU traffic. So when I come on those sites they say: "Due to GDPR regulations, we are barring you from accessing our site"
Sure, but that only counts if you have due process, and if people are still presumed innocent until proven guilty.
But if you don't get your day in court, you can't do anything about this.
