Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'
People need to admit they don't know shit and stop believing crap from YouTube.
This is the only penny arcade comic I remember, but I liked it.
I tried to use it as a clue and prop in a tabletop RPG once, and one of the players unironically said "I'm not reading all of that". She was not a great player.
I don't understand how some of my friends don't use adblock. One of them always just seems overwhelmed, and I don't think the ads are helping. But they also have no brain energy to change anything.
Modern social networks are pretty trash, but I don't have an iPhone so this is a non starter.
Even so, I'd rather just... text my friends.
