I really can't tell if you're sincere or not. I apologize for that.
I don't get how people keep conflating me with right-wing people. It's like right-wing people are going around imitating me to confuse people or something. It seriously makes no sense. It's enraging and incomprehensible.
That instance appears to not allow open signups. I don't want to be associated with a place that says "fill out an application and wait to be approved."
I can't get this comment right. It needs to show less emotion because it could bother someone to read it. But it needs more emotion because I'm too tired of all this. I don't know what to say.
Are you absolutely sure you’re getting banned over that specifically?
That is what you asked and I answered. Yes.
What specifically are you using your freedom of speech to say that’s getting you banned?
In this case, mainly Lemmy’s federation is broken + we need more freedom of speech.
Across all cases, “we need more freedom of speech” is a pretty common example of what specifically I get banned from online discussion for being honest about.
Making me repeat this furthers my view that you are probably not too sheltered to be familiar with this, but just gaslighting me about it
So, am I allowed to say "fuck off, rightoid" for implying I'm a "chud," or is the instance I moved to still not safe for me to insult you back from - whereas you're safe to insult me because you have your fellow, what I hope I'm allowed to call (as I see you and them), rightoids to back you up?

Most people anywhere I've been, online or offline, are anti-honesty, so when you say that's hard for you to understand, it's like you're either from a very sheltered place that makes you completely blind to the US, or like you're another American that's anti-honesty and super manipulative about it
I've only been banned from one so far but the votes on posts are about as unfair as reddit so it feels like every instance has a user base that's anti-honesty and will thus have mods or admins that are anti-honesty.
It also seems super depressingly common to have basically "no insults" as a rule, confirming anti-honesty (especially since I've never seen a place with that rule where it was actually enforced on an equal basis). Like, the instance I'm using has that rule, so are they serious about that or is it just written wrong? I'm hoping they just wrote it wrong, not that they're actually saying "we will ban you for insulting others while you will not be able to do anything about others insulting you"
Plus, testers who are already getting paid, and legal department says our hiring paperwork already covered all the liability stuff.
I mean, their. I don't work at Amazon or anything.
Edit - since people keep seeming to want to slander me on Lemmy, let me be clear for anyone digging through my comment history: the mystery in this comment is purely for humor. I truly do not work at Amazon, never have. I encourage anyone unfamiliar with Amazon's manipulative anti-union psychopathic bullshit to look into that (though it's dwarfed by stuff like their environmental crimes and genocidal Israeli complicity)
But lossless isn't lossless. It's just digitally lossless. The metaphor here would be more like analog conversion, where a FLAC copy of a vinyl isn't exactly the same as the vinyl.
I think. Idk. I'm overthinking the metaphor without really knowing what a soul is or anything.
Several people spammed me and gaslit me for a little while
Skavau@piefed.social continued spamming, gaslighting; escalated to trying to provoke inappropriate replies; refused to move the discussion to a more appropriate platform when I pointed this out; started threatening to report me for "insults"
At one point, Skavau@piefed.social slandered Aaron Swartz era reddit (to me, this is basically slandering Aaron Swartz - this is the one thing Skavau absolutely needs to apologize for)
After dealing with that for about 12 hours, I was banned by sh.itjust.works
I learned unlike reddit, being banned by a Lemmy instance prevents you from even logging in to archive your inbox or anything like that
I am now trying to reply from futurology.today, but there are replies from Skavau@piefed.social that I can still see on sh.itjust.works but haven't been able to find or reply to on futurology.today (while replying to others)
My hatred for this species has increased 0.001%, leaving that much more of my love for the planet we live on
So, is there an instance I should actually use? Is futurology.today also gonna ban me for "insults" sooner or later?
