  • Imo the things Hamas did over the years, which also hurt a lot of innocent people, where at worst trying to commit genocide on the Israelis. You are free to start a list where Hamas is exposed.

    Unlike Hamas, the government of Israel is succesful in systematically displacing and murdereing Palestinians in Gaza and is allowing Israeli citizens to do the same in the West Bank while the population is supporting that. Ergo, Israel is committing a genocide. The intention of the website seems to be to collect evidence of that. They do need to do what "we need", they are free to do what they need (= evidence on what Israel does). If this ever ends in front of a judge 'but they did x' will not be a valid argument for killing innocent people on a close to industrial scale.

    1. I am not an American, so i didn't read your declaration of independence in grade school or like ever. Your effort of putting it in a comment might be a good reason to read it, but it's exact content isn't directly related to my life so yeah.
    2. Obviously i was being sarcastic, why would i subscribe to a history sub if i did't think things of the past were relevant to things of today, especially if such a thing is still legally binding and also considering it's the us declaration of independence on the us's independence day. I was just taking the piss, because of the US's current state of affairs. No offense or serious argument intended.

  • And that's just the economics of the gains; completely forgoing the cumulative costs burdened upon society by climate-change (increased heating/cooling-costs, early deaths because of pollution, crops failing and the mass-migration as a result of that). Continuing with fossil fuel is very very dumb if you look at the medium to long term.
