  • Are you going with a group? If so, make sure you know what they are bringing.

    Generally for yourself, a tent and sleeping bag are the most important. An air mattress will make sleeping much more comfortable. Also, if you are going camping somewhere where rain is a remote possibility, make sure the tent you buy is waterproof.
