  • Thats the only thing i miss from reddit is brooke2valley, i wish she was herr on lemmy. I think she attempted to get into the fediverse at one point. I think she just kinda has a lot going, and doesnt have the time/energy to balance 8 diff accounts.

    Congraties on your first step in your journey! I turned 32 just a couple weeks ago. I feel the wishing i was younger thing honestly. But the best time to start figuring out yourself is always right now. I genuinely wish you the best of luck!

  • I just looked this up and the first links are trans reddit gatekeeping being trans on this issue. Saying people that have this done are "trans" (with the quotations 🤮🤮🤮) and how their just fetishists.

    Its sickening, being in a marginalized community and experiencing all the bigotry and hate that comes from being trans, and turning around dishing out that exact same bigotry to other trans persons. Its really fucking gross.

    I personally, think im either going to choose to stick with what i got, or get rid of and replace it. But thats my thought, my call, and my body. And your body is yours! Mine give me extreme dysphoria, maybe yours doesnt and i think thats awesome!

    Fuck gatekeeping being trans, were in this together. I love that you have an exciting option for you, and id never judge that decision. ❤️

  • Oregon!! I love it here! mental health access, abortion access, and gender pathways access are probly some of the best in the country. I hear stories all the time of people starting their journey with a doctor and still having to wait years before hrt. Here im fully confident ill walk in, tell them what i want and when i want to start it, and thats how itll happen. State insurance is REALLY good here for trans folks too. You name it its covered by OHP: trach shave, laser removal, vaginoplasty, top surg, face feminization, hrt, everything thats a part of anyone heres journey is covered.

    Plus its beautiful here! Mountains, ocean, beaches, rivers, desert, forest, we got it all.

    As a lifelong oregonian i wouldnt want to be anywhere else. And we usually say please stop fucking moving here. But i hereby give permission for everyone FtM, MtF, or anything in between to move here. We welcome you with open arms! Especially if your in an unsafe place or country, we NEED you here and happy ❤️
