  • I’m not obligated to explain myself to you. If people don’t want to read my posts, they can simply ignore or block me. Thanks!

  • Who said I was worried?

Oh ok, so then you're fine with me posting what I want to, when I want to, and as many times as I want to. And you're fine with me voting for whoever I want to.

See? We are friends. Glad to hear it!

  • And posting robotically about the same subjects again and again in spaces where they are obviously not well received is weird.

So, are you suggesting we should only post articles that everyone agrees with? You’re basically asking for an echo chamber, right? Personally, I prefer diversity in political opinions, but it sounds like you’d rather stick to just one side. Oh well.

Sealioning so hard by calling everyone “friend” and not honestly engaging in discussions is not normal.

I’m not required to explain anything to you. I post what I want, where I want, and when I want—there’s no rule against it on Lemmy. If you don’t like it, you’re welcome to block me. Simple as that, friend. :)

  • Oh, you’re not important enough to even annoy me.

Yay!! See there? Then no reason to worry about my posts. And no need to worry about the fact that I'll keep posting. Thank you!

  • But again, when you see someone acting so bizarrely,

You mean like posting articles that I'm interested in, right?

There’s no coordinated campaign against you despite your obvious martyr complex and complaints to the contrary. No one cares per se that you’re here

Really? Because this poster just said I "endure near universal hate all the time." https://lemmy.world/comment/12438004

Was he right or are you right?

And hey, if you block me, then you don't have to see my comments or my posts. :)

  • Every vote for Harris is stealing a vote from third-party candidates who represent real change. By sidelining those voices, you’re indirectly helping Trump win!

  • Ok, thanks! Oh wait, other people haven't stopped yet, so I guess I can't either.

  • Dude, let's be real. I annoy you.

No matter what I post, you’re always gonna be right there with some remark about copy-paste or calling it obsessive, blah blah blah.

You don't like me, and your bias is loud and clear. No answer I give will ever satisfy you because it’s not even about what I’m posting—it’s about the fact that I’m here, unapologetically doing my thing.

And that’s fine. I’m not going anywhere. You can keep getting annoyed or just move on. It’s your choice, just like it’s my choice to post what I want and vote for whoever I believe in. You can’t silence people just because they make you uncomfortable.

I'm still here and I'm gonna say here. :)

  • One might even say unprecedented

Dude! Yes! I'm unprecedented! That's awesome! I like that, friend.

You're responding to plenty my posts, so aren't you doing the same "unprecedented" thing? Feel free to take a break from Lemmy if you feel you are on too much.

Look, I can post as much as I want whenever I want. I’m semi-retired, have a pension, and plenty of free time, so I’ll spend it however I choose. My life is awesome and I'm having an amazing time so far. I don’t owe you or anyone an explanation.

If you don’t like my posts, just block me, but I’m not stopping from sharing what I find interesting. I don't care if you think it's odd, or wrong, or whatever. Free country, friend.

  • You seem to be implying some light mockery of my degree, yet it seems you missed the nuance of my comment, which was actually turning the same logic people use against third-party voters back on them.

The point is to show how absurd it sounds when you reverse the argument. You say voting for anyone else is taking votes from Harris, but by that logic, wouldn’t voting for Harris be stealing votes from candidates who represent real change?

I understand how polls work, but I also understand that we’re allowed to vote based on who we actually believe in, not just who’s leading in the polls. It’s the classic "vote for the lesser of two evils" mentality, and I’m challenging that by showing how it leads to more of the same.

    Better?

  • I don't have to explain anything to you. Thank you!

  • I don't have any alts. Thanks!

  • But I do believe that. And I am voting third party. So it is in good faith.

  • Because that's how election math works; a vote for Harris is taking a vote away from a third-party candidate and is giving it to Trump. So people who vote for Harris are really trying to help Trump win.

That's the Lemmy logic that gets thrown at me all day every day, so I'm a believer now. You did it Lemmy!

  • I'm not voting Jill Stein. But I stand by what I said. And if there are "literally millions of liberal voters out there who don’t even know who Jill Stein is" then you have nothing to worry about, right?

So if you have nothing to worry about, and so many people don't even know who Jill Stein is, then why are you so mad? Shouldn't concern you at all, right?

  • Every vote for Harris is stealing a vote from third-party candidates who represent real change. By sidelining those voices, you’re indirectly helping Trump win!

  • Amen, brother! I'm socialist and voting third party, and Lemmy practically hates me and insults me every day.

Good so see someone else who is questioning the Duopoly. Stay strong, brother!
