  • I know a bunch of people in happy cis-hetero relationships where there is no bs going on with traditional gender role expectations. A dear friend of mine is a super sweet, sensitive and emotionally open cis-lad. He and his wife are very happy together. He's got pink hair, dresses pretty funky and is super adorable while his wife is more on the butch side with a healthy 'let's do this' hands on mentality and a nice casual look. That's just one exampel. Almost all my hetero lady friends go for emotionally open and cute lads. Just be yourself, find the right person to date and be happy together.

  • Seeing them live soon. :)

  • Candy for Mandy. :) Treat yourself every once in a while.

  • To be fair, there are both types of pubs. Since I do not care for sports or fancy places, I always go to the more quaint ones. I love those links, by the way. Thanks a mil.

  • Really? When I'm going to a pub in the UK it's called something like "The Old George" or "The King's Inn", the building must be a few hundred years old with a door frame so low it bonks any unsuspecting patron right in the head. There are at least two fireplaces lit, minimum requirement of one sleepy old dog who's been there since forever and all the furniture looks like it's been hand carved way before anyone came up with the idea of DIN standards. The only music playing is of course made by some fiddler and a patron singing off-key since they had at least a few pints too many.

  • And I just tested the hot sauce Da bomb beyond insanity. Long story short, it lives up to its name.

  • Those places are lovely, of course I know then - I'm from there :D

  • I'm queer and once had a date with a black woman from the States while living in Dublin, Ireland. She asked me if I could be her local tourist guide. Sure thing!

Walked her all across the shitty overpriced city centre. At some point she asked me:

"Am I the only black person around here?"

Eventually decided to ditch the CC and take a taxi to my local area.

Waltzed into my regular pub holding hands, cuddeling.

The entire place filled with white cis locals went dead silent like in a bad cliche movie.

"Harry, two pints of the black stuff, will ye?"

Peeps realised that at least I was a local and continued minding their own business.

    Jeez...

  • The basic mindset of our dog. :D

  • I just nuked my account and fecked off to Lemmy after the API kill.

  • I don't think so since they are divorced and retired.

  • I'm the person responsible for my surname becoming extinct worldwide. It was a very rare one and I was the only one left being able to pass it on. Too bad I changed my surname when I got married, plus I'm queer. Double kill for that legacy. The last few people on this planet with my previous surname will be the last ones.

  • Go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

Needless to say I'm not too fond of my family...

  • I just started watching Dexter again. Hmmm...

  • I rarely speak well of English people or English food, but damn, thanks to them I found the holy grail of Mac n Cheese recipes.:D

  • Don't worry,I learnt from my past mistakes. I've got solid ear protection now and also wear earplugs for all concerts I'm attending.

  • I used to program electronic music and play live keyboard until I wrecked my hearing on stage.

I picked up playing drums 1.5 years ago and love it. I've been teaching drums for almost 2 months now at a music school.

Drumming relaxes me a lot, it's a good workout and even with my impaired hearing I can still play them.

  • Bingo, that's the one. I was lucky enough to see the band live twice in their home town Paris. Each time I left the venue speechless. :)
