Nice to meet ya! I think Lemmy is better, but you need to tune it for what your interested in more. The conversations are a lot better, you can usually talk to people with opposing views like an adult and not a toddler.

As someone who doesn't even look at his speedo, I don't like it but it's technically the law. But I do think there are other driving laws that are more important they don't ever enforce. Like driving in the left lane on the interstate or highway for 46 fucking miles ect.
Not sure why media is trying to make this a thing, it isn't. There's thousands and thousands of posts/videos by visiting Europeans saying they're pissed because they were lied to about America being a shit hole and everyone there is selfish and rude.
We've all been there. I was banned because I commented on a thread about Islamic Western integration and said I saw a BBC show once where they were talking about Muslims not integrating very successfully into British culture, but I'm American so I didn't know first hand. I was banned for hate speech.
People that believe all that ghost shit on YouTube is real. It's basically boomers and religious tards with a 3rd grade education that don't understand how easy it is to edit video for the average person. They all comment "May Christ protect you" and other crap like that. While these people pump out an episode every week like clock work where they're possessed, attacked, or some other BS. Best part is when they go "we almost died" over and over, because name one person on a paranormal investigation that died that isn't an obvious natural cause.

At least my parents over 20 years. Kids were awesome. Gen Ed isn't much better, they think their kid is Einstein and that they've know how to teach them.
