Not exactly what I was looking for, but a much better alternative! And the linked article even mentions Ireland specifically as having legislation for this kind of balcony solar. Thank you!
I think it's a self-selecting issue. Entrepreneurs who are content to start a business that pays for a comfortable life dont reach out to endless investors. They'll take loans, not stake in their company. They won't constantly reach for attention to justify higher valuations, and therefore higher investments. They're more likely to stay private and not go public for the same reason, which lessens awareness of them outside of direct customers.
Nobody would be talking about Tesla as much if it wasn't an investment device (and its CEO would likely be a less loudly evil person too). It'd just be a car manufacturer, and the only relevant thing about it would be the quality of its cars and the happiness of its customers. No investors to wonder about "growth potential".
Yeah, because fighting a war on drugs has worked so well for every other country that's tried it.
Yeah, that's what I thought they worked as. I used to host my files for on my own cloud drive and that had no issues. They do have one off 'support payments' you could get if you wanna support them but not get a subscription.
Is Obsidian not free? I haven't used it for a while, but I don't remember paying for it at any point. <_<
Apple, Mac OS, Windows, and Web. Android is coming, but I don't see any timeline anywhere about how long it'll take. I have it working on my phone by turning the web version into a shortcut on my home screen, which is working fine, but a dedicated app would be much appreciated.
Yeah, it's a shame. I have the website set up as a shortcut on my homescreen which works just fine, but it'd be easier if they had a proper Android app.
It does also recommend InteractiveBrokers as an alternative for...Degiro? Not sure what lead to that decision being made.
Yeah, I think having multiple of this type of site or list can't hurt. Different people are going to prefer to get their info in different ways. There's a github list (which the maker needs to move to codeberg :p ) which is my preferred way of identifying replacements - it's easier to handle on mobile.
They're all being run by different people, it's not like work on one distracts from another.
