  • I think everyone gets that Israel has decided to go all-in on genocide, and that its population - 95%+ fascistized - has dropped any pretense of good faith in the mission to eradicate the Palestinian presence in the region. But how do they expect to survive as a nation with zero soft power left? And tethered to an Empire in frank, if very slow, decline? In a future where the US remains one of the economic-military poles, do the Israelis really expect to stay on as the spearhead in the Middle East, right next door to some of the possible other poles? These European colonizers don’t have the millennial experience of Asian societies, but they do have the multi-centennial history of their home continent. How do they expect to survive the rip currents of History?
