Yeah but how do you consult those rules? How often are they updated? How do you get notified of updates?
The fact that there are no answers to these questions and therefore everyone is working with mismatching rule sets makes the whole thing useless. You can be totally well meaning and still piss off a server because somehow you don’t know what the currently acceptable magic number is.
I recently visited the states for the first time in a decade and didn’t find out until afterwards that 15% is now considered by some people to be “low”. Sorry everyone who I tipped, I shafted you without realizing it. 🤷♂️
Except no it wouldn’t because he wielded power exclusive to the office of president therefore it is considered an official act and his motives cannot even be investigated to find out if it was an abuse of power.
The degree to which the Supreme Court has fucked the US with this ruling is hard to understate.
I think the point here though isn’t as much ‘how do we play the game?’ as it is why there hell are we all forced into playing a metagame that is so inherently harmful and specifically designed to encourage risky behavior (I.e. the idea of debt being favorable)?

Nothing, I was just saying that it’s a cool cyberpunk corporation name. For me the gaudy names like Meta and X are a little on the nose, true evil lurks under a veneer of banality which I think names like TA have.

Writers and actors are encouraging people to keep watching and taking about shows & movies because that underscores the value they bring and are trying to get recognition for, ultimately bolstering their case.
