I couldn’t find it either. It may have been circulated within legal networks rather than as a public petition.
My guess it’s by either https://defendourjuries.net/ or the Good Law Project. Both of them have great social media accounts that break down what’s going on, what we need to be paying attention to and how to get involved. I recommend their social accounts where they post videos. They break things down very well there.
But you will also have to fight much more for your existence — not Russia’s, but your own. And this is not a threat from me or Ukraine. These are facts of Russian history that you know well: when Russia gets tired, changes happen.
I'm glad he's challenging Irish leadership. My point to viewers is, don't assume we can trust him based on one video.
He's Irish born, but defected to the British far-right - a group which has long hated the Irish, our struggle for independence and pretty much everything we stand for. You can still call him an Irish citizen, I concede that point.
Dissemination is dissemination, not journalism. Journalism is a discipline comprised of many skills. In the age of disinformation, we do need to distinguish between those two.
He was born here, I'll give you that. But he moved away and is a dual citizen now. Yes, he's an Irish citizen but seen as a "soup taker" here by some.
He's not a journalist. He repeats other people's work and presents it as his own. He is a campaigner.
I don't understand Ukranian but am told by someone I trust that there are some easily found posts on Ukranian Facebook of him causing significant issues for some Ukrainian journalists.
Sincere apologies about our asshole politicians, and the people who elect them. Really. Unfortunately this politician is not a one-off.
The interviewer is not a journalist and not Irish. He takes Irish Times articles and regurgitates them as if it's his own work. He works making videos for the British far-right.
Yes, already commented by iknewitwhenisawit, but it's a great example that I'd forgotten. I doesn't have the damage in layers, but it does have gradual and incremental damage which is great.
Thanks gods Starmer is on the case /s
