  • Trump loves the poorly educated.

I suppose I should have said "no-one with a functioning brain."

  • They are the only local place I can get transformers, aside from Wal-Mart.

Online ordering will have to sustain me, but that's a lot harder to justify as "impulse purchase."

  • This covers my thoughts about damn near every "helpful" feature this side of auto-complete email addresses.

  • What is it that you're concerned about? Assume that I have no idea what either the new or old Mozilla privacy policy is, please. I tend to assume that all such are a pack of lies and everything is spying on me.

  • Trump won't buckle, this is true.

But there are plenty of other people around him that will. Sooner or later, either a real war will break out, or Trump will be removed, or nutered, or otherwise brought to heel by the Senate, or the military, or the oligarchs.

  • Does anyone know if this guy is an acceptable source, or just blowing hot air?

  • All the headlines, saying “can’t get them back” are misrepresenting the situation. Trump isn’t saying that he can’t get them back, he’s saying the judges can’t make him get them back.

  • He can ask for them back, but El Salvador doesn’t have to listen.

They do if they know what's good for them.

But more to the point, alli the headlines, saying "can't get them back" are misrepresenting the situation. Trump isn't saying that he can't get them back, he's saying the judges can't make him get them back.

  • This may not be only about tariffs, but they play into it, if only by making other countries unhappy with us.

  • Some of those I've never seen hyphenated in 30 years of being an avid reader. And some of the corrections I see listed, I've seen used the other way.

But I'm sure they read more broadly than I do.

  • I wonder if he understands the conflict between "open market" and "tariffs," or if this is just a case of him not understanding that other countries get to make their own policy, or what.

I don't want the patient of the US to be operating under Maxim 13.

  • I agree. I made the comment before I read the rest of the article.

Headline writers need to be flogged, or something.

  • Very nice. I'd love a Cali-class. But not enough to pay $150 for it.

  • Can you imagine needing to pay a licensing fee in order to use the alphabet? Or your telling of Jack up the Beanstalk being subject to copyright?

  • Hummm. No boob jokes. This might be legitimate.

  • Good on him, then.

Honestly, even if I don't understand why he did it that way, he's at least doing something.
